First i would like to appoligize that i posted this in the wrong section but i didnt find any laptop section or anything like it.

So the thing is around 1.5 weeks ago i noticed that my PC boot time got slower. But i was very suspicious about 1 thing, and it was the terribly long black screen before the "enter password" screen.

This is my boot up:
1. Start PC
2. Screen with Windows logo (1-2 mins)
3. This weird black window before login screen (3-5 minutes)
4. Login screen (i enter password) (loads for 30 seconds)
5. Desktop (loads desktop in 10 seconds or less)

This akward black screen is bugging me. It wasnt there before and why is it so long.

This is what i tried so far:
-First i thought it was because i had 2 antiviruses (Malwarebytes and AVG) running at same time. I uninstalled AVG and got BitDefender and i turned off my Malwarebytes so that i run it only when i make malware scans.
-Then i tried the Disk defrag on BitDefender.
-Then i scanned my Malwarebytes for malware (nothing)
-I cleaned my PC with CCleaner
-Enabled all 4 cores on boot up (some kind of menu that i found tutorial on Youtube)

MY PC: Acer Aspire 5750G (3 years old) ( I reinstalled 3 times windows because cleaning PC from bad viruses)
Windows 7

Nothing worked so far. Pls help

At least on old win2k, it would wait 30-60 secs to get an IP-address. Before desktop showed up.

Other things to check is virus/malware. Also, did you recently install a virus checker? Or any other program that starts at boot? Try turning them off and see what happens.

Yes, safe mode boot is quick. At least way quicker.

I looked at MSconfig but what should i do. I disabled couple of programms but it aint gonna help.

can you post a screenshot of the programs msconfig shows on startup?ive got a hunch kanewolf is on the right track here.the only programs i have on startup are my av,malwarebytes and a weather widget.everything else is unchecked and my old computer boots in about 30-40 seconds.

Can you redo the screen shots with the "Startup Item" and "Command" columns WIDER The "Location" and "Date Disabled" columns are less important for the first pass. First glance it looks like there are MULTIPLE copies of the same item listed, but the columns aren't wide enough to tell for sure.

Anyways i got the Performance recorder, but it says that it has to disable Paging Exclusive and it says i will need to re-enable it, but i dont know how? I dont want to screw with the performance even more.

I think it is because you have too may startup programs from the screenshots you have shown. Another reason it could be is lots of shortcuts on your desktops, if you have lots of them, it will affect your startuo a lot. Also another think is if you have lots of programs that you don't use, that can slow it down.

So try the following:

1. Try temporarily disabling bitdefender and turning on windows defender as you anti virus
2. clear any programs you don't use
3. Get rid of unnecessary shortcuts

Let me know what happens after you have done these

I unchecked everything but something from Intel and Razer Synapse and the long black window was still there. I ran Windows Performance Recorder and i got the boot recorded. If anybody needs detailed info about what my PC is doing at the boot just tell me.

Nothing changed. I ran Malwarebytes in Safe Mode and scanned with CHKDSK and nothing worked.
I would not agree that its the hardware because files and folders open fine and i never had issues while playing games. Also CHKDSK sait the volume was clean or fixed. IDK but it is fine with my Hard Disk as far as i know. If i only could understand the Windows Performance Recorder file that it made after recording my boot, then i might figure out the problem.
