Upgrading NARRA 5 PC

I have a mobo of PEGATRON CORPORATION NARRA 5 and a win 7 - 32 bit OS with 1x stick of 2gb ram. Can I still add 1 stick of 1gb ram?

Possibly, but you would be better off installing 2 matching memory modules.

They are not with the same brand. But when I put the 1x stick of 1gb ram, I boot my pc but theres no output as in its only black screen and my monitor is on standby. Please help me thank you

They may be incompatible with one another. Will the system boot with only the 1GB module installed?

Ok I tried using only the 1x stick of 1gb RAM but when I boot up theres no display on the monitor then the monitor was put on standby
