Whenever I play a game (it varies like Robocraft can play for quite a while but Payday 2 crashes in 5 minutes) my computer randomly shuts down or restarts. I chech reliability and it comes up with 'Windows was not properly shut down'. Temperatures go to 30-35 degrees when gaming so it isnt overheating.
Here's my PC specs:
AMD FX 6300
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
4GB RAM 1333mhz
Radeon HD 7770
320GB IDE HDD
CiT Black Edition 500W PSU

More about : computer randomly shuts restarts

Probably a faulty PSU , how old is your PSU and checks if its giving the correct wattage.

CIT PSU are Tier 5 PSU which mean they do not meet ATX requirement and are dangerous for your component. See tier list there : http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-su...

30-35 actually is kind of low for gaming. Don't know if it's for the CPU or GPU, but it's low nonetheless.

I would bet that it's your power supply. It seems to be low quality and it'll shut down when the system requires more power.

Okay so that would explain why it keeps shutting down when I play games.
