I recently got a gigabyte GeForce gtx 750 ti windforce edition and when I put in in my pc it killed my motherboard... I was wondering if I put it in my new motherboard would it do the same thing? They both have the amd 760g chipset. My old motherboard was a biostar a780l3c and my new one is a asrock 980de3/u3s3

That's the 'replace immediately' category.
The CX series isn't fantastic but if you're not overclocking it'll do fine, especially if you're on a budget. I'd wait for it before plugging in anything or turning the system on for that matter.
