Hi I have recently bought a desktop (cyberpower) and was unhappy about the graphics card installed (AMD r7 250 which is not in any of the pci e slots). I know how to slot the graphics card in and set it up but I can't seem to find the 6 pin or 8 pin adapter which I need in order to install a NVidia 780Ti (super-clocked 3gb GGDR5). As it is a desktop from cyberpower the cables are organised and tucked away. It does have the expansion but I cannot find the 6 pin or 8 pin adapters. I have a Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-DS2 motherboard and the power supply is 500 watts.

Solution

Do you know what the exact powersupply is? Is it a generic grey box one? If so then it may not have the required connectors. Also even if it does 500W is not enough for a 780ti.

Yeah the model I am buying requires a minimum of 500w and the I can settle for a 720ti which doesn't require as much. The PSU is a generic grey box. It has a good CPU but it is the GPU that lets it down
