Uninstall all the graphics drivers using the information at the following link. Afterwards reboot and reinstall the catalyst control center version 14.4 or your preferred version. I would download the CCC install file first to make things easier when the time comes to reinstall it.

Did you perform all of the steps outlined in the uninstall and removal procedure or did you skip any steps?

You might try an in-place upgrade which will renew your Windows installation without affecting your files and programs.

Well, glad it worked out. I was pretty sure it was due to driver remnants but sometimes one procedure works while another doesn't. It's usually due to something leftover conflicting with what you're trying to install. Especially if what you're trying to remove has newer (Although not necessarily better) versions of included files.

Do you have a link to this? I'm having the same problem on Windows 7, tried the steps above and non have worked. Many thanks in advance
