You have an older Q6600 based rig, with an older HD48XX series GPU, on 4GB of memory running Win 7 x64. Performance is going to be quite restricted compared to modern machines.

As such, you should be able to gain some performance by increasing your memory from 4GB to 8GB. However, I would suggest you start thinking about upgrading your entire rig.

In the meantime, I would suggest that you play games at lower graphics settings levels to improve FPS rates. Also, make sure that your major drivers (video, audio, motherboard chipset, and network) are current and up to date, as well as ensuring Windows is fully up to date.

Alright, So what are the parts that need upgrading? Or do you mean just get a new pc outright?

You really need a new CPU, motherboard, memory, and video card to get modern levels of performance.

You can certainly still play games on your existing rig, but you lower the game graphics settings to achieve higher FPS performance.

Any way i can make this cheaper, I wouldn't mind something like 40-50 fps, But i need cheap stuff because i can't really afford too much to spend. What i basically mean is, Can i just buy one of said things or two and still get better frames, OR do i need them all? If not, Mind naming cheapest but reliable ones available i can buy?

What is your current upgrade budget? Are you currently playing games at low settings?

I can play league of legends everything high except effects and its at 60-40 frames, 40 in team fights. Not alot of games i've been playing lag unless they transform into a big map, I think thats probaly just the ram though, Because whenever a map loads or something in the game it starts to lag. Budget, Around £200-£250 max

Then I would stick with what you have for new as performance is okay (remember to dial back the game settings if lags get to be a problem) and save more for a complete overhaul. When you are ready, post your needs and budget in the Systems section of the forum and many will leap at the chance to help.

Good luck!

One more question, Is there really none i can get one by one? like graphics card, Then the rig then the ram or the other way round or something? Thanks. This is my last reply.
