Hi All,
I have a SAPPHIRE 100354XTL Radeon HD 7870 XT w/Boost that I purchased about a year ago. ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202024 )
It's in a Corsair 200R case, and the i5 CPU has a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO.
When I'm running WoW on 'ultra' settings, it sometimes heats up quite a bit, it's even shut down the computer on warm days :/
I did move the CPU cooler fan to the side next to the GPU so that it would provide a bit more air movement (zero issues with CPU heating either way), and haven't had quite the issues as before, but I'd like to look into perhaps a replacement cooling solution for the GPU rather than the stock fans.
Any suggestions?
OR (since I'm now gainfully employed and can afford) is there a new GPU out there in the $200-300 US dollar range that might be worth looking at?
