the title says it all. I recently got a new moba and a new gfx card.

ASRock 970 EXTREME4 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

ASUS GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5 G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video

I checked my bios to see if my hard drive was recognized. I saw it in my SATA. Also I checked my SATA settings to make sure it was on IDE. Please help. I really don't know why my startup freezes, bdos flashes, and computer reboots.

i installed the new moba and gfx card. I booted it up. It goes on to the startup with the four colors. Then it freezes, bsod flashes and the computer reboots.

On the old mobo, was your SATA mode AHCI, IDE, or RAID?

I assume you are using the same mode on the new motherboard, correct?

Also, double check that the SATA data and power connectors are firmly attached to the HDD and motherboard (as applicable). Try another SATA data cable/port, as well.

I have a single hdd. No I did not remove my amd drivers since my gfx capacitor smoked. I am still using my same gpu. I only changed my moba and gfx card. Also I changed my moba because there was a weird physical problem but that's a different story.

GPU = graphics card = video card.

So the old video card went up in smoke. Now you just have the new GTX770. Understood.

If you can get into Safe Mode, you can uninstall the AMD drivers and try booting into Normal Mode afterward. Any luck getting into Safe Mode?

Bumping is not allowed. Please refrain from doing so again.

Go into your BIOS and find the section with integrated devices. Disable audio, network, etc. Try loading the system again.

Keep in mind, you may have to reload your system from scratch.

I could not find a section with an integrated devices part.
