can i crossfire 280x with 280 non x ?

Hello all

before few day i have other thread here about crossfire 280x

i have msi 280x gaming from 7 m

and i found used msi 280x gaming for 300$ but hit owner confirm his card have artfact :( 

so now i sill get new card

the msi 280x gaming new for 390$

msi 280 non (X) gaming for 320$


now is the performance between 280x and 280 worth extra 70 $ ??

and i can crossfire 280 and 280x without problem ?

my rig

core i7 4790k + 16Gb ram + corsair GS800 soon 1080p

You can, both are part of the same 'family' of GPUs. The 280x might downclock a bit to match the 280, but they will work together, and that pair of cards will perform very well. The few games that don't like crossfire you can turn it off for, and make full use of the 280x's full speeds.

now the 280x worth there price differnt 70$ okay i will get new 280X

and i play only bf3 + bf4 + farcry 3 i dont play alot of games

Update i get my second 280x today run crossfire its work great bf4 aith about 160fps :D 

max temp for primary card 79C during 3dmark and the second card 70c :D 

this 3dmark result
