So i have a new built pc and this issue only happens when the gpu is using acceleration and when theres a dark scene in a game

Here is a video of what i mean. I had to make a replica of it because it won't record on any camcorder i have in the house. This is the best interpretation i could get (no it's not that flashy) (this also happens in all games)

Oh and i'm using a VGA to DVI-I adapter on my card. Could that cause those strange lines? AMD Catalyst detects this LED monitor as a CRT. When windows installs the drivers for this monitor the gradients look really weird (see screenshot below). So i reverted back the monitor drivers and they look normal now.

Honestly i don't know if i should RMA the card or get a DVI-DVI cable :S

The video card is fine. Problem lies in somewhere between analog monitor connection, the monitor itself(including color palette), gamma settings, game rendering and a bunch of other software settings

DVI cable yes, and there will always be a little bit of moire issues.

You can go here for a quick run down of the weird things that certain patterns and colors can cause.

I just noticed it doesn't flicker if vsync is enabled? Is this caused by the dvi adapter?
