dell optiple gx620 motherboard replacement

Solution
Information I'm finding seems to show the Dell Optiplex GX620 Mini-Tower has a case and motherboard form-factor of Micro-BTX and not Micro-ATX. The two are not swappable and I do not know of any current motherboard of the Micro-BTX form-factor.

BTX - When looking at the Rear I/O ports, the expansion slots are to the left.
ATX - When looking at the Rear I/O ports, the expansion slots are to the right.

To upgrade your current system, you'd need an entirely new core (Case, power supply, motherboard, CPU, RAM) and possibly a new Hard drive and Optical drive, depending on whether they are IDE (wide 40-pin cables) or SATA (newer thin connectors) to the motherboard.

No. If you want a system that's upgradeable, start from scratch and build your own. I'd say look for a Haswell based Core I3 processor/motherboard and mid-range graphics card. Purchase a quality power supply for your new system that would comfortably power a newer high-end graphics card at a later date. Probably looking at between $400 and $500 for a decent, upgradeable starter system.
