I am moving my Gateway PC to a new case after a video card upgrade and I can't find a manual for the motherboard. The model listed on the motherboard is RS780M03G1-8EKRS2HM. I have tried for a couple hours to guess the front panel pin layout with no success. The gateway case has one plug that goes right in but my new case has Power Switch, Power LED, HD LED, Reset Switch, Reset LED all separate. Anyone familiar with this model's layout or know where I can find a manual? Thanks and any help is greatly appreciated.

Yea this is frustrating !!! I had the same problem when I did this with my dell but once I found someone who knew the layout every thing was good. At this point I would be happy with just the Power switch. Only thing I can get on is the two LED's and they stay solid. However I read somewhere that if they are staying on constantly most likely the + and - just need to be reversed. The motherboard is from a Gateway DX 4300.

I figured it out with my other PC but I can't seem to get it on this one. If I get the HDD LED and Power LED to stay on does that mean its in the right spots just reversed? If I can at least get them right it will eliminate some pins. Also sometimes the fans just start running without the PC being turned on. What could cause this? Thinking I might have the power supply set up wrong.
