I am having trouble getting all of my displays working at once. I have 3 Asus VN247 monitors, a Seiki tv, a Sony TV and just got the Oculus Rift DK2. I am running 3 graphics cards total. An 7970 ghz in crossfire with a 280x, and an R7 240 on its own.
I had all 5 other monitors working fine before plugging in the rift, but now when I extend the desktop to the rift it disables the Sony TV. When I try to extend to the Sony TV, it disables one of the asus monitors. If I try to duplicate the Sony TV with one of the asus monitors I get a "Unable to save display settings." error when I attempt to apply it. The 7970 is plugged into 1 of the asus monitors via an active display port to dvi adaptor, the seiki tv via hdmi, and the oculus rift via dvi. The R7 240 is running the Sony TV via vga, and the other two asus monitors via hdmi and dvi.
Is there a reason I am maxing out at 5 active monitors?
