Hi guys!

I have recently got a used Msi R9 270 2gb 256 bitwith default clock 935MHz and 1400Mhz memory.........I installed the card everything runs smoothly no restart noting......temperatures are also at normal level...........during game play at Ultra setting there is flickering on the screen...the higher graphics on which I play the faster is the flickering...when i try to capture screen shot it is always clear.......Can anyone tell whether its a software problem or hardware??
Any possible solutions?
Thanks In advance!

check your monitor cable first. if it will not work then try to re-install driver and direct x. I also faced such problem but at high temperature say 80c.

I think if I had a problem with the cable or connector the flickering would have been countinous even when not playing any game....but in my case when i am not playing any game there is not flickering at all....I think theres a problem with the sync settings............btw I am also downloading recent driver from amd website last driver that I installed was from the disc that comes with the card.........My bios is 11.0 do I need to update it??

i had the same problem.. aso on HDMI and still have same problem. cant even run furmark becouse of flickering. while in games, flickering starts above 80c temperature

some say its is direct x problem... mostly dx 11.2 gpus have this problem.. do you experience any direct x error like """DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with
DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG: Device hung due to badly formed
commands.."""""" or somehting like this???

Okay...I checked it in fur mark....at Gamming mode the minimum temperature is 45 and max temp is 80
at Over clocked mode minimum temperature is 55 and max temp is 80 again so what is the conclusion here>>

check the temperature at which flickering start..... because when you increase game setting the temperature would also increase...

Tried everything like overclocking...increasing fan speed....syncing....direct x update....driver update but no use............and than I removed the connector and used a DVI to DVI connector to connect my card with the LED( Luckily my Led was having a DVI port)....

So in short dont use connector to connect GPU ...use cables....
Thanks for reply BTW!
