Devastator keyboard
Hey guys, I'm new to the Apple world and I've just recently purchased a used 2008 MacBook. Immediately as I bought this laptop the first thing that I pawned upon was I wonder how my keyboard will do with the mac!
Moral of the story, my Cooler Master keyboard backlight doesn't seem to work with it. Ordinarily I would press the SCR LK key and it would activate the backlight on the keyboard. When I do it on this device it simply turns the screen brightness up or down. I've done some research elsewhere and have only found things about people using their MacBooks with Ubuntu, but I'm a fan of the Apple software, why else would I buy a Mac?
Does anyone know anyway to make the backlight on my keyboard work?
Whether it be installing a program, running a few scripts in the terminal, I'm up for just about anything, I really don't want to buy another keyboard.
If it matters at all I'm currently running Mavericks.
Thanks in advance,
Robert
