PC Suddenly became slower.

Hello, I wanna start off by saying that my computer is a decently fast computer but a couple of months ago something happend and it just snapped. Everything became slower, launching programs became slower, even opening tabs on chrome and loading websites. My screen freezes frequently while I play games. I tried formatting, disk defraging. EVERYTHING, but nothing seems to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First, please give us more information on your computer. There are a large number of potential causes, and we need as much information about the problem as possible to be able to correctly assist you.

Second, how old is it? Components do eventually fail, after all.

CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250 Proccesor (2 CPUs), ~3.00 Ghz
RAM: 2GB
GPU: AMD Radeon 4600 HD

Those are the most important specs.
