I'm a little undecided on the motherboard and PSU, but I'm certain on the following:

4790K
Hyper 212 EVO
GSkill Sniper Series 16GB RAM
Arctic Silver
Corsair 550D

I'll be moving over my GTX 4GB 770, Sound Blaster Z sound card, 3 SSD's, and MAYBE my two mechnical drives from my current machine.

I'm looking to try and keep this under $800 if possible. Again, I still haven't decided on a mobo or PSU because I'm having a hard time finding things that are of good quality while keeping it cheap. I will never SLI(just prefer the single card solution)and I will probably OC the CPU to 4.4-4.8 down the road. I would also prefer a modular PSU. Cable management reasons(obviously)and I'm looking for a mobo that will be able to handle all that I will be buying as well as what I'll be moving over. Hope this helps someone help me.

Solution
The sound card and the GPU will all fit because the Z97-A has a lot of PCI-E slots
Nice RAM choice! 2133/CL9 will be fast, but not noticeable, sadly.
The fan clips on the 2112 EVO can be slid up 10-20 mm for extra RAM clearance.

your case is pretty expencive
and you dont need 16gb ram for gaming-- use 8gb

and if you want to cut more so change the cpu to a i5 4690/k

for the mobo if you are using the 4690 go with the Z87-G45 GAMING

I would recommend the Asus Z97-A and the EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2.

I should have mentioned that I also render a lot of video. I use for my YT channel and every now and then I stream on Twitch.

I would still recommend the 4690K as I don't really think you'll need 4 cores, 8 threads and 8 MB of cache? The ONLY difference between that and the 4690K is that the 4690K has 4 threads and 2 MB less cache. I really don't think the 4790K isn't worth the extra 100$ that can be put towards better parts.

I may do just that. Now to figure out which better parts lol

You WILL eat through 128 GB FAST, especially if you have lots of programs. Go for at least 240GB or 512 GB.

What if I just use it for the OS? I already have two Samsung Pro Series both at 256.
