You use the fan in a push configuration most of the time to push towards the rear exhaust.

You want it to be blowing air into the heatsink fins, allowing it to exhaust to the back of the case.

Like that pic exactly , have the arrow on the fan pointing towards the heatsink.

Same direction ... dont want them fighting each other

Front,m bottom and sides in, top and rear exhaust for air cooled builds

Right side fan pushes and second fan pulls towards exhaust fan.

Push\Pull

I don't think he means a 2nd fan on cooler but the rear case fan .... I could be wrong .... but my wife isn't here so I have a shot at being right :)

Oh no, even when they're not around, they are usually still right. (glancing at my wife for approval of this message)

Is it necessary to configure push&pull on the cpu cooler...I only have one fan it's pushing air..I don't have any second fan on heat sink so..?

Standard for hyper 212 is just one fan in push. If you feel/find that isn't enough cooling, you have the option of adding another.

P/P improves performance by 10-30% ..... but rear fan should provide an "assist" there.
