So at the moment im with the GTX570 , and along with my 29'' 2560x1080 monitor , i get low fps when playing new games at such high resolution and graphics , like metro 2033 , dead rising 3 , etc.

Cpu is haswell i5 4670k @ 4.4ghz and 8gb 1600mhz.

Which gpu do you recommend ?

Do your overclock your GPUs ? Assuming so as you OC'd CPU.

If overclocking, the 780 has the edge over the 290x up to 2560 res ..... if using straight outta the box, the 290x is faster.

As the 780 is cheaper, again if overclocking, it makes the decision easy.

Tho with the 880 rumored to drop this month, ya may wanna hold off and see if it happens..... the 780 dropped $200 the day the 780 Ti was announced.

it's pretty obvious, your three choices are between good/better/best for less/more/most amounts of money.

Buy whatever GPU you feel comfortable with spending on.
