Bare minimum AMD-based system to play BF4 on ultra?

Hello,

I am curious as to what the bare minimum to play BF4 at ultra is. My rather unreliable friend kept telling me I needed at least an R9 295X2 and FX-9590. Obviously we all know that that system will play Battlefield 4 at ultra and probably more.

My question is, what is the bare minimum AMD-based system that can play Battlefield 4 at ultra? Maybe help me build a system on PC Part Picker or find a pre-built computer.

...I'd say a GTX 760 is bare minimum in that list for Ultra at 1080p, but since you specify AMD-only (is there a reason?), I'd say you're looking at an R9-280 or a newer R9-285. If you could hang on for a bit longer, the GeForce 8xx series is on the horizon and should put out some interesting results as well.

'Unreliable' isn't the word I'd use to describe your friend for recommending that... :heink:
