Dual Monitor Resolution Problem

I recently purchased 2 Samsung 27" LED monitors (link above) for a dual set up. The recommended resolution is 1920x1080 but I can't seem to get the resolution to take up the full screen and have the image crisp. For now I've been using 1680x1050 but the image isn't crisp. I'd like to use 1776x1000 but there is black edges. Any recommendations?

How are they connected to your computer? If it's VGA, then you'll have issues. What video card are you using?

Also, any resolution aside from the native resolution is going to have issues. What happens when you try to run at 1080p exactly?

Have you tried using the auto-adjust function on your monitor?

For one monitor I've got an HDMI (port from graphics card) to HDMI cable to one of the monitors. For the 2nd monitor, I have a DVI (port from graphics card) to HDMI cable. When I attempt to run it at 1080p the screen isn't crisp plus it's got black edges also. I'm using windows 7 if that helps at all.

or enable it. it depends on the monitor lol. i have that issue when i plug in one moniter via dvi,and the other over hmdi and have to flip the switch. if tht dont work make sure you monitor is not zooming it happens sometimes.

also make sure your a 1080p before messing around with it.

Finally got it to work. Scaling on my Catalyst was not at 0%. Thanks for your help thequn :)
