Okay so recently started streaming and picked up on some background static coming from my headsets microphone(Steelseries 4H) no matter what i did, so I bought a new headset the razer carcharias and had the same issue once again. I tried both headsets on my laptop and had no static what so ever on any of the headsets so I narrowed it down to my desktop PC being the issue. Would anyone have any clue as of how to maybe fix this or what i might need to replace to fix it?

Would greatly appreciate any help i can get on the matter. Just post in the thread or send me a message if you have any insight to the problem because its really bothering me.

Are you using the front panel jacks of the PC (least desired) or connecting to the motherboard at the back (most desired)

Hey ive tried both and none make any diffrence quite frankly. As far as i can tell it all worked fine up untill last weekend but i can't say for sure though. I installed a new 250gig SSD drive and forgot to get a shelf for it so its just laying loose ontop of my HDD. So im not sure if that could be the issue unlikely as it seems.

I didn't lose you, just looking into a couple of possibilities, none of which panned out. The only thing I can suggest here is "playing" with software settings for mic gain and noise cancellation, see if you can't find a setting that eliminates the noise
