A month or so back I upgraded my CPU from the AMD Phenom X4 965 to the AMD FX 8320. When I made the switch I slowly started to notice FPS issues, massive lag spikes, some poor performance. It wasn't until my brother re installed Titanfall did I notice a massive frame drop, in Titanfall, a game I never got lag on before, was now lagging.

And It's is weird because It doesn't always happen, sometimes it will lag on a map, and sometimes it won't. All during the same play session. Now I've tried many things to fix this, I've un parked my cpu, I've opened up my system and checked all the cords to make sure everything was tight, I've even overclocked my cpu what only made it worse! I'm becoming incredibly fed up with my computer and with other games coming out soon that I really want to play on it, I could really use some help. If you guys know anything that I could try please suggest it. My full rig is listed below.

Power Supply: CX750M Corsair 750W
Mother board: MSI 970A-G43
AMD Sapphire radeon HD7870 OC GHZ ed
8gb of ram
Corsair H55 Liquid cooler.
Windows 7 Ultimate.

Note: I also noticed, and think that my motherboard may be the problem. On HWmonitor I noticed that the second reading showed 92C. What are you guys thoughts on that?

92C is more than likely a poorly calibrated sensor, otherwise your computer would be crashing promptly, iirc on AMD heat tolerances. Either way, it sounds like you have a heat issue. The only suggestion I can really offer is to check the seating of your CPU cooler and redoing your thermal compound.

Alright, I'll try that. I really do hate messing with thermal paste though XD
