Hello,
I have recently built a computer. I know about all of the parts except for the case, which I got secondhand. Basically, the front ports of my case (USB 2.0, Audio and Microphone jacks) have been being pushed inside of the case by my headphones. I found out that the chip was hastily glued with some adhesive material to two pegs in the case. One of the adhesions had broken, and it was easily able to be pushed into the case by my headphones. I cannot easily get to it, but it is very close to a slot in the case that I can just squeeze my fingers into. Two hard drives are blocking it, and one has a screw that I can't get off and it's blocking the way. I have tried hot gluing it back on, but I could not fit the glue gun through that small space and almost knocked some of the status LEDs along the way. I tried electrical tape, which hardly fixed the problem at all. Please help! Would super glue work? Maybe a different adhesive. We might have Gorilla Glue around the house. This is my first time building a computer and this is a problem because the back audio jack is already occupied.

Thanks!

Two-part epoxy resin glue is probably the best to use as it's extremely strong provided you can keep the two parts held together while the glue sets. Problem with superglue is that, although it's an instant-stick product, it won't work on some types of plastic, which is why I suggest epoxy resin.

You should find the front panel of a standard tower case is just held in by clips and pulls off if prised carefully around the seam. Mine does.

Other option is buy a new case (that would be my choice).
