Does it have the specs to run 64 bit , if it does you will have to perform a clean install.
You can't upgrade to 64 bit it has to be a clean install.

Yes, it is a legit copy and I have the key. When I put the disc in my computer, it comes up with a message, that it can not be installed on this machine with no other explanation.
I think it may have something to do with the fact that I am currently running XP 32 bit.
Is there a way to erase my operating system and do a new install with the 64 bit program?
