Yes, it is a legit copy and I have the key. When I put the disc in my computer, it comes up with a message, that it can not be installed on this machine with no other explanation.
I think it may have something to do with the fact that I am currently running XP 32 bit.
Is there a way to erase my operating system and do a new install with the 64 bit program?

I know very little about computers. Currently running 32 bit XP and wanted to upgrade to 7 and was told to get the 64 bit Pro or Ultimate.
My computer is an older Dell 2.8 mhz.
How would I know if it has the specs to run a 64 bit ?
