This is my first pc I have ever built, so please don't criticize me.

CPU: i5-4690k
GPU: Gtx 760
Ram: G.Skill (2x4gb) ddr3-2133
PSU: Evga supernova b2 80+ bronze

Problem: I boot the pc up, cpu led is solid red for about 1-2 seconds, then it goes away, and when it goes away the dram led comes up which is solid red (its solid red until I turn the comp off), and I can't seem to power the computer off besides clicking the off/on psu button. When booted up all the fans and everything are on, but I don't see anything on my monitor boot up, just the solid red dram led.

Update: I didn't push the ram in, so I tried again with A LOT of pressure and it clipped in, but the dram led is still there.

Try switching around your ram slots. I had a similar problem before except it was the GPU led that stayed on and monitor wouldn't detect a signal.
Since your using higher speed ram, try hitting the xmp switch on the motherboard. Are all the 8 pin conectors in the GPU?

I tried switching around my ram slots, and tried doing it with just 1 stick. I hit the xmp switch on, it was green, but the solid red led was still there. Yes, all the 8-pin connectors are connected to the gpu

You sir are a god, you made me do some research and to put A LOT of pressure on to the ram to get it in, and now its up and running, thanks bud.
