Samsung smart hd tv will play but it keeps shutting down for approximately 3-5 seconds and then comes right back on. Is this fixable? What causes this issue? I cannot get to my netflix or anything else on the smart portion. It's not my internet because computers and iPads work fine.

Shutting down...do you mean it completely powers off, then powers back on? Or that it stops playing content for a few seconds?

Without more details, the only thing I can suggest is to check for a firmware update for the TV.
