Corsair CX750M Failing Under Load?

Hello,

I just bought a ASUS HD7990, it was all working very well - The drivers loaded perfectly so I started to try and run some games.

When I play Battlefield 4 at Ultra settings, I get consistent crashes, some of which just show a black screen, and then require a hard reboot. Also, when I run a benchmark or game such as Heaven, there is the most horrendous coil whine, but I'm not sure if it's coming from the Power Supply or the 7990?

Is this down to the power supply?

System:

Intel Core i5 4670k @4.2GHz
ASUS Z97-K Socket 1150 Motherboard
ASUS HD7990 @Stock
8GB Kingston HyperX Blu @1600MHz
Corsair CX750M 80+ Bronze PSU
Corsair H100 Water Cooler
1x 750GB & 1x 500GB Hard Drives
Windows 8.1 Professional 64bit

I am using the 14.7 BETA drivers from AMD.

Thanks very much,
Thomas.

Solution
Even if it says 750W, it may output less as the unit isn't that good, I'd suggest getting a 600W from xfx or evga or a corsair ax or hx series to make sure this problem doesn't persist

I've always bought everything from eBay and never had any issues. But I always use PayPal (Safe) and look for feedback rating and score.

I'll buy a new power supply and hope it fixes it :)

Thanks,
Thomas.
