I have an Asus laptop for a couple of weeks now, when I first tried to connect to my wifi at home, it worked fine. The second day it didn't even offer the option of pressing the button on the router, but I could enter the password, but it says "cannot connect to the network"..
I tried reinstalling the wireless adapters driver, but it didn't help at all. I don't know what the problem is. Any ideas?

on the router log in make sure the wep or wpa key is what you know it should be. if there an issue try logging into the router with the unit unlocked (no password and see if the laptop will connect.) with wifi hardware make sure your on your router and not your friends next door a lot of people now have the same units. also check that your router set up right and not logged onto another network. (may have to do a hard reset and set the unit up by logging into the router).

I logged in into my router, but I'm not sure what you said I should do here.
WPA/WPA2 - Personal(Recommended)
Version:
Encryption:
Wireless Password:
Group Key Update Period:

This is in the wireless security section.
Update: I changed a couple of things that made sense when I was logged into the router and now it works, although I don't know which change was the solution. Thanks for help anyway : )
