I am going to uni in a few weeks and was in need of a laptop because there just wasn't enough space to bring my entire computer over so I decided to get an affordable yet decent laptop and after countless amounts of research have chosen the HP Pavilion 15.6"

for only £379. As I was looking for reviews on this laptop I stumbled upon a video on YouTube that mentioned something about improving the performance of the laptop with dual rams and I realized that it was indeed running 1 x 8gb ram.
So, like the topic, is there a RAM capacity for a laptop or perhaps this specific one? Or can I just go and buy a 8gb ram and shove it in.
