Hi,
I am from Australia and I want to get a gaming pc with: monitor, os and all the parts. I have about 1000-1300~ dollars.
I have put together a list and i wanted to known if it is good.

I would prefer an amd gpu cause mantle but any cpu. i would like a 120 gb ssd and 1 tb hdd. I would play games like tf2, gmod, bf4, skyrim and cod.

Solution
Battlefield 4 is optimised for AMD graphics cards and strong Intel CPUs (any Intel Core i5 3Ghz). My R9 270X runs it maxed settings w/ FXAA locked 60fps. Take a look at my $1192 PC and see what you think. I've overdone some of the parts so you can easily go cheaper and have greater performance than the build you're hoping to get for $1300.

You can exchange the Ivy Bridge i5 for any good Haswell i5 (4440 or 4590 if you want to go cheap), get a good motherboard (ASRock Z87 Extreme4), and dump the aftermarket CPU cooler as you won't need it and stock i5 is more than capable. Come up with a revised part list and we can improve it from there to be cheaper or same cost for better performance :)

In games, the FX-6300 performs just like the FX-8320. The GTX 760 is better and faster than the R9 270X. The SeaSonic G 550W PSU will be a better choice because the CPU is very overclockable, and the CX430 can't handle OC very well.

Thx for the build. Will the 760 be better for bf4 than 270x because 270x has mantle and i can get 3 games free.

The R9 270X is equivalent to the GTX 760 for a cheaper cost. Any minimal gains (~5%) the 760 has over the 270X is not worth the additional price and the 270X maxes out pretty much any game out there with or without AA which doesn't really make much of a difference at 1080p+ resolutions.

Thx for the link to your build. I will probably change the case to one a bit cheaper and make that i5 a k cause i wanna overclock than i will shove in a monitor. I will dim down the psu and blu ray and hdd so i can get a os. Thx icara
