My memory cunfusion

Hi guys

bit cunfused about my installed memory at the moment...

it says i have 12.0 GB but only 3.21GB usable

any ideas why this might be???

Maybe only problem is my 12 gb of ram was fine on my older MoBo & CPU, but i recently upgraded my MoBo (z97) and CPU (i7 4790k) but for some reason only 3.21gb is usable

My OS is Win 7 Pro, which i used with my old mobo and cpu
