I'm basically buying a notebook to use for internet and for school so I was looking for a cheap one which can still be considered a good notebook. I need something which can multithreading well and doesn't lag and I'm not gonna play games so much.

Which one of these two notebook seems better to you?

ACER Aspire E5-551G-X729

CPU AMD A10 Series A10-7300 (1.90/3.20GHz, 4MB L2)
HDD 1TB - RAM 4GB - Display 15,6" wide
Windows 8.1 64-bit
GPU AMD Radeon R7 M265 2GB

HP Notebook 15-R011NL

CPU Intel Core i5-4210U
HDD 750GB - RAM 6 GB - Display 15,6" Wide
Windows 8.1
GPU Nividia GeForce GT820M 2GB

Solution

Neither processor will lag for those mild usages. But since you will have all that stuff open at once you will want...
This is very close in which it almost becomes Intel vs AMD. Even though the AMD has a bit higher frequency, more often than not Intel processors have more transistors which account for capability to calculate more data. However, the AMD processor has 4 cores, so it depends on what you do on it. What do you do?

These units are almost dead evenly matched in both the processor and graphics areas. The extra 2GB of RAM on the HP is obviously better than the 4GB that comes on the ACER but the Acer does have a 250GB larger hard drive. All things considered the HP is probably the better unit when it comes to support and reliability after the purchase so I'd recommend the HP based on that.

Yeah true to that.

I'm going to use programs like Autocad, Office and Skype and since I'll have many threads(processes) open at once I wish it wouldn't lag. But other than that I'll mainly use it to surf on internet, download music, films and once in a while play some games that don't require a pc with high performances.

Seems like that's EXACTLY what I said. I wonder why the OP chose your answer rather than mine. Must not have liked my avatar? Hmm. Oh well, no big.
