im looking for a new intel cpu for my motherboard all my friends are saying go for i5 but i did see on youtube it cant take heavy games i have £200 for a new cpu do need help with what one is better for games

Solution

Do not get the k it is just spending extra money for nothing because your motherboard does not support overclocking. You have the H61 chipset on your motherboard. It will work just fine without overclocking, it's your best bet for certain.
"It can't take heavy games" is totally not true. The i5 can definitely take all the heaviest games, and of course it matters on which one you buy. The first questions I need answered is what your current CPU is, so I can figure out what socket your motherboard has?
