booted up then display cut off

i had just changed the password logged on to my ubuntu account and there was no display
i turned the machine off and now theres no signal dected by the monitor help?

Happened to me today. I took my graphics card off, Took all cables off , did a vacuum inside my CPU , plugged every thing back in.
Still no display.
Then i took off my GPU again made sure it fit firmly and nothing was loose.
Also make sure your VGA screws are tight both connecting GPU and monitor.

extra information it gives three beeps in total

changing the vga cable
took the graphics card out
reseated the ram
changed the cpu fan

i had the same problem few backs took the graphics card out and used on mobo vga port
and it worked fine but now im going around in circles trying to think
