HDD LED Always On When I Boot

I built my new computer recently and found that my HDD LED was always on, so I tried to fix it, only to find out it works nowhere else on the MOBO pins and only in one direction, there is nothing wrong wit my HDD and SSD. The HDD turns on the second I turn on my computer if that means anything.

Hello... Yes, LED's have Polarity to them... in one direction it will be on all the time... Change it to the direction where it is not on all the time, and connected to the proper pins for your MB.

Double check where you have plugged in the HDD led front panel leads.
It can be confusing.
Yes, the leads have polarity, but if you reverse them the led will not light up at all.
Most likely, you have used the wrong pair of pins.

Which is exactly why I asked for the specs so I could look at the manual for the board and tell them how the LED should be connected.
