Hi guys
I have a 4670k running on a stock cooler now. This is after switching from a H100, so that means I had to re-apply my thermal paste. I cleaned the cpu as much as I could (I think I wiped with Isopropyl alcohol for a good 5-10mins). Previously, even on idle at stock clocks, my CPU was running at 37 degrees celsius, a bit too high for a water cooler (or so I think). Now when I revert back to the stock cooler (stock clocks as well), the temperature revolves around 41-43 degrees. Do you think this is too high? I live in a very hot and humid country though (and the case is in a relatively cramped area) which goes from 28-35 degrees everyday (throughout the year). Is this a reason why? Should I try running in an air conditioner room?
