I have a very, very old computer. It's a custom build by my brother and its 6-7 years old soooo here are the specs:
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00 GHz
Graphics(video) card: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series
Motherboard: Gigabyte EP35-DS3
Ram: 4GB
Power supply: FSP Blue storm II 500W power supply
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit
Case: ThermalTake MATRIX
Optical drive: LG (don't know about this one)
So... here is my question can I upgrade my processor to an Intel Core i7-4770 3.4GHz Quad-Core and my Graphics(video) card to an Asus GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB DirectCU II without needing to replace my power supply?
Thanks in advance!

You would need to replace the motherboard too, which means you wil have to replace the RAM also.
The PSU at 500W is borderline. I would replace it with something at least 600W from a quality brand (Seasonic, Be Quiet!, ..)

New boards use DDR3. You have DDR2 now.

If you are getting a 780ti I suggest at least a i5 4690K + a Z97 board + 2x4 GB DDR3 RAM + a EVGA B2 750 PSU.
