hey guys, im having a lot of problems with my computer. im running windows 8, and ive heard good things about it, but im only having problems. i dont know whats up, but when i launch most games of mine or even steam, my computer shuts down. the fan revs super high, and it clicks and goes black. its not over heating or anything that i can think of.
if anyone can help me i would be so grateful because i have contacted HP support, they dont know anything, and many other tech support lines, they cant tell me. so ive been trying forums, so here i am. also me apps wont work. so its really weird. (my computer is telling me that there are important updates i need to install: just go to "Change PC Settings", but thats an app, and i cant open it.) =(

thats all i can find for specs, tell me where else to look, and i'll grab the answers for you. thanks!

I think its because the games you are running are too cpu or gpu intensive for your current build. This may cause your fan to go to high speeds as it needs to keep the cpu and gpu cool. Have you tried to turn down the settings of your games to the minimum? Also does this only happen when the games are run or does it happen at any task?
