hey guys,

my PC won't boot any device, i've tried running just a usb drive as boot device, no device at all thats bootable and all that stuff, its always the same:
my pc starts, bios splash ( i can go into bios options and change things which I did,) and then where usually either the windows boot starts or boot from any device, I just get 2 ticks oder something of the white "-" and then a black but turned on screen.
I've tried resetting my bios already, I changed ram, tried starting with just mobo and graphicscard (and RAM)- always the same problem

The problem first occured after I tried plugging in front audio connectors to my mobo, so my guess is my motherboard is the issue, however I'd love to hear if any of you had a similar problem or anyone knows something I could try.

PC specs:
m5a78l usb3
amd fx8150
gtx 670
crucial m550
two 4gig gskill 1600mhz
550W noname psu

While I'm writing this, it might also be a problem with my psu, which seemed to be under heavy load these last few days (very high fan rpm and really warm)

thanks in advance for any help!

i see you try reset BIOS.you can do that again by removing BIOS battery for minute or so,if that didnt help you definitly wanna disconnect (for front audio and usb conection)cable from motherboard.warm air from psu it can be from motherboard ,gpu too if the case have bad ventilation, did your feel me on that.

If you have a flaky PSU that could be the problem. Reset the BIOS to default values and try that. For now I would disconnect everything from the MB and leave just one stick of RAM and use the onboard Video, see if it boots at that point. If it doesn't boot with one stick try the other. If it does boot that would eliminate any hardware issues and it's a Windows issue. If it doesn't boot it's probably the MB or PSU.

allright guys thanks for your answers i got it working (somehow) I just unplugged everything and rebuild my pc from scratch turned it on after every part I put in. when I booted without keyboard it gave me the message I had no keyboard, so I plugged it in BUT via usb instead of ps2, restarted and somehow it booted again. I dont know if the keyboard itself was the issue, but maybe this helps somebody having a similar problem
