Version 2 of this PSU is compatible.....it does not list V1....

No, just make sure the c6/c7 sleep states are disabled in the bios. On every retail board I have seen they are disabled by default.

It would cause issues when the system went into sleep mode and/or tries to come out of sleep mode.
