I bought a Lenovo Z-50 laptop about 2 weeks ago with a NVIDIA Geforce 840M graphics card. It was working fine until today when I realised that on right-clicking the desktop, I saw the Intel Graphics Settings instead of the Nvidia Control Panel. I tried to open it from the Control Panel but it did not open. I even tried to open it from the Geforce Experience but failed. On re-installing the driver, it said that "This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware". I then found that it was not even listed in my Drivers. What should I do?

So I clicked on show hidden devices and found my graphics card. But it says "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45) To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer." What now?
