I'll keep this short. I bought a new system (items listed below). I put everything together, hit the power button and the fans spin for maybe a second and the system turns off. So I removed all unneeded hardware. All i have left in the case is a CPU, the MoBo, and the power supply. I press the power button and the results are the same. Please note that I believe I have all connectors in the correct spots, I've read through the manual to double and triple check. After the initial press of the power, any additional press result in nothing happening. I've disconnected all fans, but the CPU to make sure they weren't causing the issue.

List of items:
2 x Team Vulcan 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3

1 x AMD A10-5800K Trinity Quad-Core 3.8GHz (4.2GHz Tur

1 x EVGA 01G-P4-2751-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750

1 x ASRock Fatal1ty FM2A88X+ Killer FM2+ / FM2 AMD A88

1 x EVGA New Version SuperNOVA 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified

I believe 750W should be more than enough. Any suggestions on what to look at?

Thanks!

Did you use MoBo standoffs when installing it? It could be MoBo short-circuit on the backplate (or somewhere else). Happened to me long ago with exact same symptoms you described, luckily nothing was damaged.

After hours of testing, I had discovered that the PSU was DOA. Luckily I had a second computer to test this.
