Microphone not working

Hi, I got the Tritton Detonator headet and I read that it works on PC.

My problem is to get the microphone working. The microphone plugs directly into the headset and only got 1 output cable.

Dunno if this helps but my laptop does not have a microphone jack, only a audio one.

My headset only got 1 cable running out of it. There isnt a microphone cable just 1 that I guess is meant to support both audio and microphone but it doesn't. And if I would buy a splinter I'd only be able to plug in the audio one because I only got a output audio jacket on my PC and no microphone jacket.
