Question about downloads for hard drive

My question is. When I'm downloading a game and the download stops or I start downloading a second file "or multiple files" Will it put the file in one section or will the different files be mixed and "fragmenting" together on the drive.

For example say I'm downloading two games. Watch Dogs and Battlefield. If Watch Dogs starts downloading and get half way done, the download pauses and Battlefield starts downloading and gets half way done, then Watch dogs finishes, followed by Battlefield will on the hard disc space the first half of watch dogs then battlefield then the end of watch dogs, etc... or will watch dogs be stored on the physical hard drive in one big chunk or will it be physically separated or "fragmented" on the drive.

I know either way it will show up on the folder as one file, but will it physically be in one big chunk on the drive with the second game after or will they be mixed and matched.

Also will it effect loading times?

I know I'm probably making this out to be more confusing then it is, I just don't know how to word it. Also I know this is supposed to be what defragmenting fix.

Honestly it will most likely fragment them either way. Its not so much how you download something its more so how framented your drive already is. Not much you can do on that except defrag it right after. Now unless its super fragged (few thousands peceise) you wont really notice a huge difference if its in a few dozen or hundred peceices depending on the size of the file.
