PC crashes when I use AMD CCC

OS:Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
GPU: MSI Radeon R9 290

When I make a change to something using the CCC my computer locks up and I have to restart via the power button. I've already tried DDU and the "only latestclr" fix (or something like that) and they got me this far,before that I couldn't even open the CCC without it locking my computer. Any help is appreciated,Thanks.

1.I was looking for an easy over/underscan solution.
2.Eyefinity
If you told me a way to get both of those without CCC then great,I'd ditch it in a heartbeat.

Nothing now,at least I know to go elsewhere for help in the future thanks,btw all I needed to do was temporarily disable my AV protection and I was able to use it.
