Is my PC build good enough to handle new games at ultra/very high settings?

Ok guys, since I'm new to this I just wanted your opinion on my first custom build gaming PC. I am 15 and this is what I could handle off my 850$ budget.

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card
RAM: A-Data XPG V1.0 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P ATX AM3+
SSD: A-Data S510 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
HDD: Z7K500 500GB 2.5" 7200RPM
PSU: Antec Basiq 500W ATX
CASE: NZXT H440 (Black Edition)

Do you think I could run pretty much every game on ultra/very high or even high/medium settings at +60 fps? I really don't want to switch to low settings. Medium is already bugging me... Since I play games like Minecraft and Battlefield, I hope this PC Build will be able to handle it without breaking a sweat. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, it should play new games on high or ultra and get good frames, at least 30, which is playable. Minecraft, you will get at least 60fps for sure, and battlefield 4 you should get 30-40 on ultra, 40-50 on high probably. If you want better, than you should upgrade the graphics card.
