i have a cpu intel pentium 4 ht 630 3 ghz and i have an integrated intel card all games was lagging so i bought a new gpu and it was ati radeon saphiere 5450 1 gb and the gaming is better but lags each 2 min in low and high in all games even silkroad and crossfire and nfsmw 2005 and this games doesnt need high graphics and i found on internet that my cpu will bottleneck the gpu but if cpu bottleneck the gpu then the game must lag all time but the game lags each 2 min i can play nfsmw for 4 hours and dont lag and and i can play for half an hour and lag all time so what is the problem i know my cpu is old but we are talking about silkroad .league of legends in this game i have fps dropfrom 80 to 5 and at the same time of fps drop the cpu get 100 % usage how can this be possible we are talking about silkroad and i have the lastest drivers for every thing i have windows 732 bit and 2 gb ram i tried every thing i have more words but this enough last thing in hwmonitor it aid i must have +12 volt i have 11.5 and +5 ihave 4 and +3 i have 2 i have a stable ghz for cpu and temp is good for every thing the porblem is fps drop and cpu usage 100 5 at same time and fps drop from 80 to 5 please help me . intel corporation doesnot know what to say to me they couldnot help they told me they havenot a solution for me :D :D so help me please

Solution
The processor Ghz is not the only part of the processor that account for the power. Your Pentium 4 processor has only 1 core which is far behind the 2-4 cores that the majority of modern processors have. Games are utilizing more processor cores so more calculations can be processed simultaneously by different cores rather than the one core.

Furthermore, the frequency of a processor is how often the processor cycles data, it's very complex but the point is a processor can have a high frequency but still a low amount of transistors. No matter how high the clock rate is, a lot of transistors really helps the processor use all those data calculation cycles in the form of logical integrated circuits to perform many calculations. No matter how high the clock rate is, a lot of transistors really helps the processor use all those data calculation cycles in the form of logical integrated circuits to perform many calculations. The more transistors, the more data calculations can be performed, which is also affected by frequency or in a way the speed of those calculations. Older processors like the Pentium 4 would have probably half the amount of transistors.

You need a new processor. Also, how much RAM do you have and what is the speed of the RAM?

Solution
mate theres not a lot you can do as that is the classic cpu bottlenck.
over clocking wont help because you would need abut a 40% percent of a performance bump to catch up to the gpu but even that may not help because your pci-e will likely be version 1. which has less bandwidth (half of that of pci-e 2). motherboard may not be able fully utilize the gpu causing you guessed it another bottleneck.

it really is time to upgrade your base. even if you went with an amd apu build you would get better performance than your current system £250-300 would cover it

you cantr understand me i know my cpu is 1 core but recommended for crossfire is pentium 4 and in system requirenments lab said that my case run it on high seting i have 2 gb ram with speed 1333 mhz and if cpu is bad it will lag all time if cpu is bad i will have a continuous fps drop we are talking about silkroad is there is any case 20th century canot run silkroad on high setting how :D :D can i believe this man intel corporation told me it is not cotlle neck cause they sent me program o test cpu and my cpu passed the test

seriously... dude we told you its a cpu bottleneck. your cpu is hitting 100% usage which will cause the machine to pause till it can drop cpu usage to 99% this is whats causing the fps to drop to 5. if you dont believe then go look it up instead telling uss whell the man in the shop said... they will say anything if your gonna give them cash.
it is a cpu bottleneck and theres nothing you can do about it other than replace it because overclocking wont help... THE END!.

Yes listen to Hexit and I and read my first post over again. :)
