Hello, lately my pc has been crashing when starting up games that use directx 11, when i turn up the graphics to a high level the pc just restarts..

i made a performancetest and the result was that i crashed instantly when it was testing 3D graphics directx 11

I dont crash when i play League of Legends, even though i maximize the graphics, i think this is because it doesnt use directx 11 in the same way....

How do i repair or reinstall directx 11, or is there another solution

Tell me your PSU details.. Wattage mainly please.
If you dont know where to check, open up your case and look at the boxed device which has a lot of labels on the side. Tell me the wattage you have.

Ok thats not the problem LOL
run dxdiag (windows key + R - dxdiag) and watch the directx version.
Theres no way to unisntall dx11 on windows 8.1 i believe because it installs it on the windows installation.. its like included i believe

The SLI was auctually already turned off, but i am considering to switch the main card with the other one and see if it helps but i highly doubt it since i am 100% positive that it is Directx 11 thats screwing me up

according to dxdiag the version is directx 11

I dont mean turning it off i mean unplugging the card to make sure its not a hardware failure.. we never know actually

I tried switching the cards, there is no difference, i noticed that the game that works for me is League of Legends, it uses directx 9, while Word of Warcraft uses directx 11

Yeah , there see. its not dx11 ... now we are getting ahead.
Ok so do you have any other pci-e ports you didnt try out?
Also try downloading driver sweeper.
Unintalling first the card drivers then restarting on safe mode (F8 at boot) and run driver sweeper.. Click analyze and remove all nvidia graphics components.
Once you are done restart and download latest drivers from nvidia. Try again the games!

Thank you for all your help so far, but i think i found the issue, i changed the power splitter and i auctually managed to play WoW and also start the graphics test, it still restarted tho after some time, but that is because it is the same kind of power splitter, it just lasted longer because it haven't been used. it might be something with the contact on the wall too, im not totally sure but i dont think that it is the pc.

I'd say you really stress it on one wall contact you know that works correctly. Because if the PSU is faulty you need to RMA it as fast as possible, if you dont you can not only damage components but also have this trouble each time you play something and that will be irritating..
